The Insanity is a slightly understable distance driver from Axiom, designed for straight flights. It draws inspiration from the MVP Inertia, but is more forgiving and doesn't require a full arm to perform.

On the course, the Insanity excels at hyzer flip throws, where you release on a hyzer angle and let the disc lift into a flat, long flight. It also works great for long drives in a tailwind and in situations where you need a disc that turns slightly rather than finishing with a hard fade. For experienced players it's a natural choice for turnover lines and courses where you need the disc to ride the wind. For newer players it offers easy distance, making it an obvious first choice as a distance driver.

Fission is Axiom's lightweight plastic, using microbubble technology in the core to reduce weight without compromising durability or rim density. This means the Insanity in Fission flies with extra glide and responds a little more to the throw than heavier plastics.
